Zona Rosa is an approximately 500,000 square feet (46,000Â m2), mixed-use (retail, office and residential) development located in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri. The project opened in 2004 and was expanded by an additional 500,000 square feet (46,000Â m2) in early 2009. It was developed by Steiner+Associates known for their Easton Town Center development in Columbus, Ohio.
In early 2018, it was revealed that Zona Rosa’s owners failed to make payments to the local TDD. It was also revealed that Zona Rosa has a vacancy rate of about 60%.
